SAG-AFTRA Benefit Contributions for U.S. actors working in Canada

The terms and conditions of the Producer-Screen Actors Guild Codified Basic Agreement of 2005 as amended by the 2009 Memorandum of Agreement, the 2011 Memorandum of Agreement and the 2014 SAG-AFTRA Memorandum of Agreement (collectively referred to herein as the "Basic Agreement") (including, but not limited to, those sections of the Basic Agreement pertaining to the reporting, payment, amount and distribution of residuals payable to SAG-AFTRA Performers, and those sections pertaining to the payment of contributions to the SAG-Producers Pension and Health Plans on behalf of SAG-AFTRA Performers) will be applicable to SAG-AFTRA Performers who are employed by Employer or Producer to work in Canada in job classifications covered by the Basic Agreement.

Consequently, Sections 34 (TH) and 22 (TV) are incorporated into the employment relationship between the ACTRA signatory and the SAG-AFTRA Performer.  ACTRA facilitates such payments.
